What O.S. are you using? If Windows, you could simply press the PrintScreen key, and have it in the copy&paste system. In linux, there are many screen capture utils, like ksnapshot (the one I use). You can easily search your distribution for some 'screen grabber' or 'screen capture' or even 'screen snapshot', and install whichever fits you.

Also, it would a good idea to 'touch' the resulting screenshot with gimp to cut off uninteresting parts of the image or scale it down.

The upper one is on poor backround, here is better one. I noticed while i tested these in-game that my latest work doesn`t fit in with other troops. I thinks its pose is odd or it is "un-wesnotish". Any suggestions to fix this?

I tested the warrior and to me its like a fish in water and fits perfectly, but the scout still needs work .His left arm still looks weird :? . And for the screenies i tried hitting the "print screen" key like a madman put nothing noticeable happened( i use windows ).

Make it less 'frontal'. You can keep the arms how they are now, but he should be more diagonal (keep in mind the hexagonal board while setting the point of view)

I hope you don't think bad about what I'm going to say, but after hitting 'print screen' you should go to a draw program (paint, photoshop, gimp, whatever) and do edit->paste (if a 'paste as new image' option exists use this one). It should work, but if it doesn't, you can search the web for a screen grabber for windows, and use it.

I think I'm going to try improving the scout, if you don't mind. I have some clues about what is wrong with it...

Here is the edited version of the scout. I include also the .xcf, so you can use the layers if you want (layer names are in spanish)

I would try to have the shield tilted slightly more away from the viewer. It currently looks like he is holding the shield in a very awkward position. Other than that, looking good.

Wouldn't using the 'mirror' tool enough to solve it? I never had a problem like that which 'mirror' and 'rotate' couldn't solve...

BTW, the second level is looking good...

i think marauders is a good name (i haven't read this whole thread) but if you want to give them a history it is always good if they come from a certain direction. if you happend to choose North you can just bugger about with online dictionaries to come up with a good sounding, non word that sounds like North in most languages - you could always use Finish - which would sound exotic to everyone else (that speaks a non-scandanvian dilect) and would make sense to everyone else. just a thought.

As regards these graphics, I would like to thank cobretti & burnsaber for working on them. I'll try and do some touch-ups myself, when I get the chance.

One thing bugging me on the pillager: the axe should be tilted, not vertical IMO...
It's all fun and games until someone loses a lawsuit. Oh, and by the way, sending me private messages won't work. :/ If you must contact me, there's an e-mail address listed on the website in my profile.

North = orcs... South = drakes, saurians... West = humans... i think the only direction left is East. :P

(the thing is, these guys look like they have fur coats on, so they should probably be northern, orcs or no orcs).

East- Undead, at least in EI
West- Elves
Center- Humans
I'd put them North, but these aren't intended to be in multiplayer. They are enemies in scenarios, and could be anywhere.
