Note that a portrait cut from both left and right might look strange in conversations. One side will not be covered by an edge of the screen and end abruptly instead.

EDIT: Also, consider me a fan of your artwork. :) The helm visors somehow remind me of re-imagined Cylon Centurions...

Awesome gold guy, as always.

But he somehow makes me think "Overlord"...
Also, flaming skulls on the armour. Why doesn't this fit to me? :?

@ em3: By your command. :lol2: (I just wanted to say that.)
I think you might be right with the cutting thing...hmm.

Indeed, you can't extend over the border on the right or the top. See the style and technical guidelines in the Art Contribs forum. And again the helm feels really flat to me. Otherwise, looking great.

Back to work. Current projects: Catching up on commits. Picking Meridia back up. Sprite animations, many and varied.

Yes, the shading of details is strong, while shading of overall shape is sublime, if any. I like that about Evilest's portraits, but can see how it does not fit aesthetically other portraits in Wesnoth.

I also want flaming skulls on my armor!
...apparenly we can't go with it or something.

Shouldn't the cape fall straight down? That would also solve the framing problem.

It would be far less dramatic.
But it would solve the problem.
Maybe if the cornters of the cape sort of curled round in front... well it would partially obscure some of that great armor and trendy accessories, but it would be very dramatic :hmm:
I don't know, it's just a suggestion.

May I ask why you're going around reviving old posts if you clearly know that it is wrong? I think you need to reread the Posting Guidelines, and please calm down. The forums are not a playground or chatroom.
