Re: Reepurr's Sprite Art
TBH, what you;ve done has killed a lot of the nuance of the shading. And thse game can apply any single colour filter, so colouration is not an issue.

Re: Reepurr's Sprite Art
Thread revival. Again. Meh.
I've been working on decapitating Eternal's fire dragon (see Art Development) to make my own skeletal dragon for practice. Not quite sure what to do with the neck though...

"What do you mean, "a dwarvish dragonguard with marksman is overpowered"?"

Re: Reepurr's Sprite Art
Cool idea, but i think that the skull would probably look more like a dinosaur skull (quick google images search) and the wing bones should be more like fingers than solid bars like in bat wings ('nother quick google images search).
Also the word 'decapitate' doesn't mean what you think it means. Decapitate means to cut off the head, which is clearly still present on the dragon.
If you work hard enough on this it might be used to replace the current skeletal dragon in mainline, or at least lay the bones (har har) for someone else to finish it up to quality.

Re: Reepurr's Sprite Art
Indeed, you need to do some serious study of how skeletons, particularly of large creatures, work. Just replacing where the bones should be with bone-coloured tubes won't cut it. Especially given that this is a big, detailed sprite.
