156. You are on a vacation approximately 1200 miles from home, and when you get a chance to be online for a few minutes, the first thing you check is the wesnoth forums.

160. You survive being trapped in your bedroom during a great earthquake, and the first thing you do when the power lines for your zone are repaired is checking the Wesnoth forums and IRC channels

(True story.)

EDIT: for those who missed the original thread in Off-Topic, which fell victim to the good old autopruner, we didn't suffer any material losses and our relatives in the capital are fine. Some of the supporting structure of parts of our house suffered minor damage, and it's become noisier when struck by wind and such, but it's okay overall. Additionally, my bedroom's western wall has a small gap now in the range of 5-10 millimeters. Only one of our dogs is still panicking whenever she hears any kind of noise that reminds her of being also trapped inside in a bedroom during the earthquake.

163. You are only capable of imagining worlds that use the Wesnoth terrain set. Not only does Wesnoth terrain cover just about everything, add-ons such as Modern Combat only prove that the Wesnoth terrain is every terrain. It controls the way you think about the planet and other fantasy dimensions, and deeply links %,# with your psychology. Every strategy game you play will use the same terrain as Wesnoth, and you can't help but think of the %,# effects. Things such as "you're easy to hit in water" or "hills make you move slower" come from Wesnoth-based thoughts, rather than a grasp on your particular game's mechanics. The use of custom terrains in UMC serve to enhance this effect, meaning everything unusual becomes a variant on something else. Ash wastes are just a desert, moon mountains are just mountains...And so on.

164: You make a full paragraph post in the "You've been playing too long wesnoth when" thread.

163165. Instead of studying for the final exam you're taking tomorrow, you're wasting time on Wesnoth's off-top forum, and strongly considering finishing UtBS because you've just one scenario left!

164166. This is after staying up past sunrise (twice) finishing the first ten (very long) scenarios this past weekend.

Edit: D'oh! Seems somebody got in ahead of me.
It's spelled "definitely", not "definately". "Defiantly" is a different word entirely.

168. You assign unit types to characters in other fantasy books/movies/games/etc.

169. You don't understand why the dwarves have bows in The Hobbit.
