The Dwelves - Elvish & Dwarvish styles merged into one

This is an attempt to create a race based on a mixture of the Rebel and Knalgan playing styles; these chaps are genetically mixed between the two and have a combination of their weapons, resistances, and movement types.

Descriptions at the moment are very sparse. Some are more complete than others, but none of them are particularly fine writing.

The attachment contains all the units and their information; I wanted to post it up here, but I used a lot of rich-text formatting that would have been too much of a hassle to redo in BBCode.

Please take a look; let me know what you think. Some units, especially the ones lower down, are something of a rush job; my overall style of design was to look at the Rebel and Knalgan units that corresponded to a certain role, and then try to strike a balance between the two, and I didn't follow through on that as much with some of the later units, especially the healing line and the raiders.

I have very limited graphic design or coding expertise at the moment, so I doubt you'll see this faction on the mod server anytime soon; this topic is just for the consideration of the units' stats.

That is interesting indeed :)

Well... I supuse better idea is if you make Elves + Dwarves (Without Ouwtlaw units). And the loyalist are mixed with the Ouwtlaw units.

You can mix Shamans with Ulfsekers, that is really funny :D


The mix of Loyalist + Ouwtlaw units should be good and the mix of the Rebels and Dwarves should be awesome too.

Maybe, you can mix Undeads with Notherners and saurian units too.

Drakes are considerated totally neutral, so I dont find where can be the drakes :(

One question. Why would Trolls ally with the offspring of Elves and Dwarves? Neither race has any great love for the Trolls, so why, aside from gameplay, are they in there :?:

The only reason why I put them in was because of the symmetry with elves; elves have woses, so I figured I needed to have a dwelf equivalent, and since they're not necessarily tree-huggers, I used trolls.

The gameplay doesn't seem to be most balanced yet; I'll have to tinker around with all the units' costs and stats to get it to work out.

I've programmed the units in, for the most part, so there's balance, an Age of Heroes faction file, graphics, and description-writing to attend to.

Hmmm.. what do you think about loyalist + Owtlaw units as a faction?
