Wait, what?

The L2 and L3 are very nearly identical if they're over chasm/water? :o

He also has more armour and various gold bits.

But once again: HOW DO YOU SUGGEST FIXING THE ISSUE?!

Whining about it just pisses me off further. We know it's an issue, albeit a minor one. If you suggest some means to fix it, it might be fixed. If you keep complaining without suggesting means to fix it, you continue to raise my blood pressure, and I'll probably wind up locking this thread beacuase it's entirely unhelpful.

So.

How do you propose improving the issue you've noted here? For. The. Last. Time.

Forgive me for the trite suggestion, but... why not make him use his wings as a cloak again? It would produce a very different standing frame, which is the crucial frame for such purposes. Of course, this would involve reworking a lot of other frames as well (the lead in to every animation, if not the whole animation), but it would probably involve less reworking than changing his armour, coloration etc.

I agree it's a relatively minor issue, but I believe that this would be the most straightforward way to get rid of it.

Honestly, I'll consider it. But I was never a fan of that look, to be honest. It could work, but it would be difficult to apply, and if it necessitated extra animation frames, i wouldn't do it I don't think.

That being said, I really wanted Rya's response ;)

It would not help at all for the "hovering over chasm/water" case, if I understand right.

Change the graphic so it looks more different.
C'mon why do I have to spell this out? I mean really.

Suggestion != Explanation of how to fix something

Only because the suggestion doesn't contain the way to execute it, it doesn't automatically make it a bad suggestion. People who suggest things do this because they want to point out problems. Developers should be thankful for this and not give replies like "Provide a fix!" or even worse "Fix it yourself!". What's with that attitude anyway. You are insulting the people that try to help.

"Thank you for pointing out faults with my work after all the hours I put into it. I think I actually put enough hours into this project that it cost several entire days of my life. Thank you so much for not looking over it when I asked months ago. Lastly, thank you for not being thorough in your complaints so that I might fix it to your liking. Little known fact; vagueness is extremely helpful. I enjoy spending even more time on something only to have it not quite suit your tastes either."

There might be a misunderstanding. I believe "Change the graphic" is understood.
The following question is how, like in "I would change the color of the wings" or "Extend the horns on his head a little more" or "Paint a giant Superman S on his breast".

Gambit beat me to it, but I guess my post still is a little helpful.

Which they spent hours making, and would involve changing dozens of images? (Almost said mages >.>)

Are you serious?? If you want it so much, do it YOURSELF.

"Change it so it looks different" is NOT a suggestion. Not a helpful one, at least. Sangel's is an example of a helpful suggestion. Yours is an example of getting this thread locked.

How about I take your suggestion. I'll replace the Hurricane Drake graphic with, say, this:  . Yep, that smiley. It would be different, and dead easy to tell apart (!)

>.<

A helpful suggestion would include SPECIFIC examples as to how things might change. Like, say, wrapping the wings round it. Or maybe colouring a specific bit differently (we did do tests of having the whole head gold, but it looked strange). Or adding more armour to one, or taking it away from another. Or ANYTHING like that.

Just saying 'change it' is USELESS. I gathered that you desired change in the FIRST POST.

Gah.
