Still a little bit - remember, you don't have to use the WHOLE of your colour ramp everywhere - in this particular case, the chest doesn't look chest shaped, because you shade right down to the darkest colour in the middle, which makes it look like it's got a big cut down the middle of the chest.

Though colors aren't a real big deal It's probably best to ask about these things just to be polite.
The lighting is coming from the top left as opposed to the more commonly used top right. And I have no idea how that helmet would function. Pretty good otherwise.

I know that I am no expert, but it seems to me that the light on your last two sprites is coming from either the middle left, or the lower left corner. Their is (IIRC) no major problem with that, it is just uncommon, as most people use the upper right corner.
I'm finally admitting that this will be a very long (if not permanent) Wesbreak. Thank y'all for the great times, and may Wesnoth rise to become one of the most popular games on the planet.

I'm rather impressed by the speed at which you advance in skill. Keep at it, you're actually not that far off from where I am :)

Also, I guess I'd better make a confession. The pallete that Major borrowed from me, I actually kinda borrowed from Shadowmaster. I think it was one of his Shaxthal drones or something, but in any case I ripped the pallete and added a highlight tone and changed a few colors to be more gray. So there.

Battle Android: You've been poking around the first few pages of my thread haven't you? :P Some pillowing. Some lineart assymetry in perspective. Some wonky posture, but those can be fixed. Keep at it.

Pose: This is the same mistake I fell into when I first began spriting. Like tsi says, you don't need to use every color on your ramp in every place. Thus, my first sprite turned into a pinecone because I insisted on putting a dot of the highest luminosity color into every piece of armor and thus making it look spined like a pinecone. :P

With Pose V2, it's pretty obvious which sprite you used for reference :P You even used the same pose! He's not bad, but again you need to watch your lineart symmetry and shading.

Your Cryo units seem pretty cool, and I seem to see a bit of Metal Slug influence in the second one. Very nice.

It actually looks to me that you ripped more than just the palette from him:

Yeah... Sorry about that, I really want to be able to make sprites as well as you.
I'm still learning about this style and I have quite a way to go. :)
To finish of the cryo line I made a Cryo Guardian.
