i'd say after, seeing as this is an intro to playing the brungar it should include all the brungar's units.

Hmmm...I think I have a alligator with no rider, I don't know about the crocodile though. If not then I'll try and whip one up for you.

Sure, just because this has evolved dwarves, elves, and humans doesn't mean that their predecessors don't exist anymore. There are still regular dwarves, elves, humans, saurians, mermen, etc. I don't know when I'll be able to work on those sprites 'cause I'm like dying (slight exaggeration, I'm sick) But I'm having a hard time focusing and staying awake, so I don't know. I'll see if I can get them later today, but no promises.

bug: there is an unknown unit 'Snow_Striker' in the nordhris leader list.
also, in the intro message it says to post balancing and development in different threads, but we do pretty much everything in this thread so perhaps remove that from the message?

i looked through the campaign dialogue of the first scenario, and here are some suggestions:
1. the objectives are a little contradictory, it says to not let the welkin overrun you and hold out as best you can, but then it says to flee to the signpost and turns running out is a losing condition.
2. second message: "Share it with who? you pointy-eared", the 'y' should be capitalized.
3. third message: "we are the mighty Welkin, show us the respect we are due before I take my blade to your neck...*cough* If I could reach it", the 'w' in we should be captialized and the sentence needs a period.
4. 4th message: "'the might Weaklin'", wasn't sure if this was a misspell or the dwarven accent.
5. message=_ "Or would you like a Sea Serpent", its missing the '?' at the end, this is also missing the the macros file for the era.
6. time over message: "They have overrun us there is no hope", i think there should be a comma between 'us' and 'there'
7. leader death message: "Your leader is slain surrender now or", there should be a comma between 'slain' and 'surrender'
8. enemy leader death message: "We have defeated them for now, We should keep a sharp eye out for more of them." to "We have defeated them for now, but we should keep a sharp eye out for more of them."

Woot! 1000 posts :P. Just wanted to be the one who posted it lol.

In other news, I'm going to be pritty busy today with RL stuff, but if I get a chance to work on those sprites tonight I will. Otherwise I should have 'em posted tomorrow.

[EDIT]
Alright, here's the Alligator and Crocodile. I edited the alligator a bit so I decided to fix the alligator rider a bit as well. Here are all three sprites:

Their anatomy is correct. I used a reference when I first made them.

[EDIT]

Huston, I played through part of the campaign and I ran into a problem. On the second scenario if you don't have your leader go into the water (I'm assuming that he changes into a Brungar like the rest of the dwarves) then he continues into the next scenario as a regular dwarf and is then stuck on the castle because it's all deep water around it and dwarves can't go into deep water. So either you need to put shallow water next to the castle so he can change or change him automatically at the end of the 2nd scenario (since he'd have to go into the water to get to the castle anyway.) I haven't really played past there 'cause the task of trying to kill all those creatures (when all of them could conceal themselves) was slightly overwhelming. I don't know if you could only kill the Leviathan to move on, but that's not what the objectives say, so I still need to do that. I'll probly do that later tonight.

haha what part of "to the water men!" wasn't clear? lol although you are correct i probably should change that.

and gathering supplies is supposed to be easy with troops still trying to master basic skills? :P
