Made and released "18th Century Archipelago", a map designed to be played with the 18th century era and make use of naval units.
NOTE: This ZIP version does not come with the map default configuration, for the few who use it.

The map can be found in my third post in this topic.

All in all a good map, but it isn't usefull for other eras (deep water between the islands).

In Scandinavia there are some Islands where an leader can move onto and force a stalemate.

That's not a stalemate, he just can avoid being killed(yet cannot do anything else nor own any villages), which is something different. That's something only a bad loser would do.
And the maps were never supposed to be used with other eras, that's why they are called "18th century... etc"

I was making the rounds of mp content on the 1.8 server, and wanted to comment on Velaria.

I played Tactics Ogre about 10 times, and your map replication is awesome. I can't imagine the time it would take to actually play it, but it looks like a candidate for a some Play By Email.

Nice work. :)

It takes about 40-70 turns.

Since I'm here, I added Valeria to the 18th Century Era.
