Balancing Drake Faction without Saurians
I was really disappointed when I saw that saurians didn't exist as an independent faction any longer. So I thought about it before I saw this topic, and I created this drake unit to balance drake faction without saurians : a consumed drake, with a resistance to cold damage :
Consumed drake ---> Carbonized drake ---> Burning/Blazing drake ---> Adamantine Drake ---> Solar Drake
HP : 27/ 36/ 45/ 54/ 65
MP : 6 / 6 / 6 / 6 / 6
Attacks :
-Slam : 7-2 / 8-2 / 9-2 / 11-2 / 12-2
-Claws : 4-3 / 5-3 / 6-3 / 7-3 / 8-3
-Fire Breath : none / none / 5-2 / 5-3 / 8-3
Cold resistance : between 0 and 20% / +10% / +20% / +30% / +40%
Ability : none / none / none / illumination /illumination
I 'll develop his description later.
I also created two saurian units, the saurian fascinator and the saurian revenant :
Saurian fascinator/Saurian hypnotist/Saurian asleeper
HP : 20/28/37
MP: 6/6/6
Attacks :
-Claws : 3-3/4-3/5-3
-Blowgun : 4-3/4-4/5-4
Ability : Mind control
The mind control is an ability which decrease the defense of a unit which attack the fascinator or one of his evolutions. I think it will be -10% for the fascinator, -20% for the hypnotist and -30% for the asleeper, but -30% on defense of all enemies of the asleeper may be a bit too much, so it also could an ability similar to the leadership : -10% for units of the same level, and -10% per level of difference for the units with a lower level than the fascinator.
Now, the Saurian revenant :
Saurian revenant ---> Saurian spirit ---> Saurian ancestor
HP : 27/33/39
MP : 4 for all of them
Attacks :
-burning staff : 2-3/3-3/4-3
-wind ball (magic) : 4-2/5-2/6-2
resistance :
-cold : 0% for all of them
-fire : 0% for all of them

So this message, even though being incomplete, answered to the subject.
Now you can see that I talk about this saurians since I edit it.
As the year is concerned, I know that the last message was posted on 2005.
