THe DK looks brill. As does the bone shooter. But then, i didn't have a mjor problem with the bow in the first place. it looked like foreshortening. And you need to stop doing such awesome sketches. It makes me want to not work, and draw instead. And I need to work. =P

Yeah, latest sketch of the shooter looks so good, I couldn't complain even if I wanted to!

The bow has gone from looking goofy to looking just...vicious. I think the curve's still a bit extreme if you want to aim for realism, but for fantasy art, some hyper-realism is good, sometimes, and I think this is probably one such case. As long as we stop short of the BFS trope (or BFB in this case), I think we'll be ok.

Looks great, wish I could draw like this.
Two things, however, bug me out.
1) Vertebrae look slightly more complicated than simple cylinders, especially those that are visible in your drawing.

2) (Here I might be completely wrong) The hand holding the bow looks very spidery to me. Either the fingers do not completely wrap around the bow (can they possibly be long enough for that?) or a bigger part of palm and wrist should show.

Note that this image shows a boy's hand. The gaps seen at the end of some bones are epyphyseal plates. They ossify and dissappear from x-ray images in adults.

Thanks for the praise and advice alike, but this is only a sketch, and is thusly unlikely to be modified to perfection. I can if I feel like it someday, but I wouldn't give it much priority. But thanks anyway.

Naga is looking good. The left hand sword might need a bit of tweaking:
- the blade foreshortening might not be enough
- the pommel would face the camera more
Or maybe I'm reading the pose wrong, in which case maybe the blade would need to be longer and the hand adjusted.
Something looks inconsistent...

No, I agree with you doofus-01, there is something about how he is grasping the sword, and then the angle of the sword/length of the blade that makes it look a bit awkward... at least to me anyways.

the naga design is really cool! i like how you melt the look of the armour and the scales, i can't really tell where one begins and the other ends - great!
my only nitpick is the head's size - it is really, really big which makes him very cute... the good old scheme of child-like characteristics: big head, big eyes...
other than that - keep up the good work!

I'll see to the naga's head then. Some day.
Meanwhile, here's a sketch for the Drake Fighter - I wasn't sure if doofus-01's attempts at modifying the previous drake portraits were commit-worthy or not, so I made mah own.

EDIT: it'll be cropped in the finished version, I'll just pass the responsibility to anyone willing to have a go with this

Dude, that looks frigging BADASS. I hope that i can do a reasonable job on it, if i have time.

But a few minor issues strike me: the upper body could do with being larger or the legs smaller. He looks a little bottom-heavy at present. And the head needs to be bigger in relation to the body.

Please, please do more drakes.

Ah. I'll try to fix the body-head-legs ratio tomorrow.

If you need a few more general opinions in order to keep you going in the same direction, then...

Agreed. Very nice job Girgistian, I look forward to seeing what you do with the rest of them.

Looking again, the tail could do with a little more love, too. But that's easy enough to fix up at inking.

Tampered with the ratios of the aforementioned parts. I'm not sure if it's good enough yet, but it should be progress.

Looks fine. Getting the scaling texture right on inking will be an interesting challenge.
