Sounds good to me, was going to suggest 'apocalypse' era or something like that. But great war is more descriptive and avoids any connotations of good or evil (which are often a matter of culture, or defined by the winners anyway...).

Good always wins, does this mean it's all a conspiracy when evil wins; and you were fooled all along from your point of view and evil was actualy a misunderstood form of good?
