Elven Sorceress Graphics
OKEY DOKEY, finally got a moment to take a swing at this:
The graphic for the elvish sorceress, or whatever the hell we're gonna call her. I would like some constructive critiques from whoever is capable.
There are a few things bugging me about this one. Notably, I think I am going to slim her staff up a good bit, and the hair is ... meh, I don't know.
Also, I still need to give correct shading to a few points, her midriff, for one, and her collarbone area.
.
Note that this lady will become a good bit more white-dressed and pretty in later levels. She'll also get cooler metal staves.

Nice work. One suggestion, though: The colour of her bust (pastel yellow) seems a little out of place when the remainder of her dress is white, and adds a confusing intermediate colour between dress and hair. Could you change it back to white?
You could add a girdle if more detail was needed, though that might be more appropriate for a later level.

In response to Sangel - um, her bust is green, and all she has in this level is a flimsy white skirt. She's wearing the same green dress as the Shaman, but I threw the skirt over it to make this a less blah upgrade, and to transition to the white dress she will have in level 3.
If I hadn't given her the skirt, then it would be a painfully obvious edit of the shaman. It is an edit of the shaman alone. So, I can't really change it *back* to white, and plan on it being as is as a transition to the full white dress.
There are a few specular dots on her chest that are pastel yellow, but the fabric changes like that in light, like most materials. One thing artists learn about color is that things don't follow a clean path from black to a color to white. Sometimes the hue changes in the light, especially if the light is a different color.
Like the idea about the girdle, though. Will likely use it.

And here is a new version, fixing many of the outstanding issues.

Ah, I thought it was meant to be a full dress, not a skirt. So that's why the bust is a different colour.
Nevertheless, I do think full white is the way to go (there are also patches of colour at the bottom of the dress). Then you can use gold highlights (a girdle, the hem of the skirt, perhaps a tiara) to make the third level more impressive - perhaps even a full change in stance.

minor changes to shading, with significant effect.
Major change to staff - added shiny blue head to it, thinned it.
Extended her hair, change color of headband/circlet (somehow, the pink didn't show up. It is gray now, but by way of optical illusion, looks green.)
IT WOULD BE NICE IF PEOPLE WOULD COMMENT ON THIS, please?
(thank you Sangel, btw).
If no one says anything, I'm just gonna toodle onto level 3 here.

I like the improvements (yes, the hand on the staff does need a little work), though I still think she'd look better in pure white. So, I've done a rough hack of how she might look. Full credit still goes to Jetryl of course, this is just testing to see what colour scheme people prefer for her.

this might just be me, but her head appears to shrink when she advancees...
