No, I meant they appeared a little too thin to be bone thin...
They're still okay, finger bones aren't really that thick. I don't have any problem with the fingers.
I agree with the ribs...still. There still isn't enough space between each one. the problem is, you might have to re-draw that whole section of his body if you can't get enough space in between the ribs.
but otherwise...totally awesome. :)

Freezing this project until I learn how to shade properly. If someone feels inclined to finish it in my stead, be my guest. Learning can take some time, so I can't guarantee that I'd be the one to finally shade this at all.

I might work on that if I get the time. I know how to shade, and it wouldn't be too hard....I think.....

Right. Just make sure to fix the ribs too.

His head seems a little too big to me. I'm really shocked no one mentioned it yet. Not by much, but it's noticeable (at least to me).

Also, I would suggest something other than a black backdrop...it might work if it faded (even only very gradually perhaps), but as pitch black it takes away from the detail by drowning it out.

The background isn't black anyways. It's a very dark color, granted, but it isn't black. I think faded would make it seem like a special unit.

I will make sure I do if I get around to it.

Alright, almost done.
Here's how it is right now, I have a bit of shading to do on the ribs left, and the eyes have been dimmed.

The ribs themselves look significantly better now, yes, but I think they don't curve up so straightly (the skeleton leans a bit forward, too, so the curving isn't that visible). Also, the arrow sticking from his chest isn't attached to the ribs themselves, but since it's not finished yet then I guess you'll be doing it later. Otherwise I really like the ribs now.

It's been niggling at me from the sketch, but i'm getting more sure now... I'm not certain that the anatomy of the skull is correct - the jaw looks very long, and the eyes and nose seem very high up.

Back to work. Current projects: Catching up on commits. Picking Meridia back up. Sprite animations, many and varied.

Yeah, it isn't really anatomically correct. The nose was originally just a mistake which I didn't notice until now. The jaw's long to give him some personality.

Like I said, I wasn't quite done, but thanks for noting that before I finished it up. I can see what you mean by not so straight. I'll fix that up with the shading. Just let me know if you want to take back over.

I think I can fix up the nose too.

Yeah, sure, it might as well be a... a bighead-longjaw-highnose-blockrib-man. Yeah. Of course.

Alright.
The ribs have been fixed, as has the nose, and the arrow isn't sticking into his rib anymore. Due to my little brothers' pickyness, I fixed part of the skull as well.
