Ah yes, the torso was too long in the original. ;) I'd probably try an edit to this sprite, though; the coloring still annoys me.

Hope it's helpful o.6
I have an allergy to making sane-sized units. I've made l3's the size of an l1; it's only fitting I make a l0 the size of a l2.

Thanks for the edit, though I saw your edit a little too late. Also, she looks a little ... fat in your edit.

Done.

Also, am I allowed to blame my sprites for choosing bad color combinations?

Made her torso smaller, added hairline and, moved her head down, recolored some stuff, put flowers in her hair, etc...

I decided to give the villager child that I had previously drawn a weapon - in this case a club. I also animated him.

fighter versions of the 3 adventureres.

Urs, as blueblaze said, you _do_ need a lot more shading on that elf. i dont think shadow_master meant the color combinations either.

I've given the Federalist Line Trooper a new shield, and created the Federalist Cavalry...

Use the Harem Girl if you want to.

Hm...

I'm unsure exactly what this art is intended for, but would people mind if I borrowed some of the more loyalist-esque stuff to make a new faction for the Feudal Era? Or do you prefer for the art to be unique to this project?

I personally prefer the art to be unique to this project, otherwise I'd be using Wesnoth's art, but I don't have control over what gets posted here and what people contribute, so I cannot stop anyone from doing what they please. I can only draw sad faces whenever they use it :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

Oh, a couple more notes, I don't mind the art being used once the project has some type of release with the art being used. Since, right now it is hard to tell the importance of a particular sprite, and I don't want the sprite of an important unit being used just as a common unit in some other era. Once the art is fundamentally released under this project though, then I have no care where the art goes. As I said before though, the art is all GPL, so the power is in your hands, but the respect is in mine.

To the art contributors, thanks for your help and keep up the good work. I can't say when, but I hope to have more solidity on the project's information sometime soon.

Finally, I'm updating the list of things needed for the project. Thanks to everyone who has helped out so far, your works will not be in vain.

Fair enough. I totally understand you not wanting anyone else to use it until you've made a release yourself.

I have made a scarecrow, dont know if you will want to use it though.
It is wearing a team coloured scarf, and top hat if it is hard too tell...

It looks more like a lego man, and less like a straw man (and scarecrows are made of straw, right?)

Anyway, one more go on the Elf girl. This really hasn't been one of my better sprites. :|

they normally have one stick up their back and on for the arms then they have straw stuffed into clothes around the stick.

I think the scarecrow will look less Lego-like if you break up the leg & ribs area so they are not in-line. Clean vertical lines should usually be avoided. Maybe add some darker lines to the head region as well?
