I say, keep it. It's a nice departure from the usual stubble-free 14-year-old who heads up most japanese RPGs.

Level 0 and level 3 elementals as requested. Yes, I am aware that the shadow is hard edged, I am just trying to keep the units similar in style to the rest of their promotion tree.

edit: fixed the hands a little

Two militiamen (three including the crossbowman which I didn't post here).

Two more to go, then. Hope you like them.

:augh: The Vanguard got pretty badly distorted when I posted...

Heres one of the level twos for the horseman. He's still supposed to have the sabre in a scabbard on the side, tell me if you want it sticking out from beneath the shield or on the other side like it is now. Also working on a 'pillager' variation with a torch and the sabre.

Should i make all the branches (of all the soldiers) reach level 3 or let some branches end at level 2?

Let some end as desired. I'll use all of these, but it's up to you how many you want to make. Let me know when you've had enough of the evil soldiers and would like to work on something else heh :P

That one is truly awesome. Its something like that fire dragon? (lvl 5 only), I feel pity from all those units that will face it

:eng: Living volcano! I sent tee! crush all the opposition!

Anyway and as reminder when drawing flames these always go up never down (refering to the tongue of the flame). Apart of that, very impresive.

Here is a weaponless townsman. Could be one frame of him dancing The Robot.
