Japanese translation

I have some Japanese translation file for Wesnoth trunk.
I've been contacting with Japanese maintainer okyada, but he seems to be too busy to response.

How can I commit the translation files?
I want to commit these files:

Send them either to Ivanovic or to me. you'll find the addresses in the wiki. I guess if you ask Ivanovic he'll tell you to send them to me as he's got lots of languages on his hands already.
Just put them into a tgz or whatever kind of archive and send them in. Preferably as wesnoth/ja.po, wesnoth-lib/ja.po etc..
