Of course it is. Age of Heroes is just an era, and a poorly balanced era at that; playing with 30% XP is by definition unbalanced.

And no, the issue here is not that it would be hard to program. The issue is that we don't want to make this change.

Isn't age of heroes just main line with the ability to buy level 2's? Why would it be any more unbalanced then main line then?

"Do you think that it would throw off factional balance if healing stacked within your own units? If so, why is that much different if its your allies healing thats stacking instead?

How are those arguements for allowing allied stacking much different then allowing healing to stack in general? Because its harder? Wouldn't it be better to make it easier and fix it so healing either stacks or doesn't?"

Allied healing stacking is a advantage given to certain factions(the one with healers) but not to others. By definition this effects faction balance in allie games.

I'm not even going to answer that.

Because the game is made so that the drawbacks of doubling up on factions with healing units is balanced out in part by the ability to stack healing in the rare circumstance where you have several healing units lined up to do so and have the ability to coordinate it. But if you allowed stacked healing in general, it would make those units overpowered, both in 1v1s and 2v2s. ;)

You don't even need more then one faction with healing, just a faction with healing and a village will do. Or a healer and a allie unit with regeneration. So allied healing stacking increases the strength of those factions with healers in allie games.

Its not hard to combine healers next to allie villages for fast healing. It is hard to heal allies on the front lines. My idea would make the latter easier to boot.

Easier, and no balance thrown off with factions in allie game. Sounds good to me.
