I can easily make versions with transparent background, if that is needed.

Nice.

I'll make a version with transparent bg and alpha shadows which can be used on top of coast, ocean, swamp, etc...

Maybe its me but i find the perspective very strange... Especially when you got the two bridges, one with no shadow and other with shadow under it...

There is shadow under it, but its smaller because the bridge is closer to the water than the pier. The bridge is wider so there are less room for longer poles.

I have made stone bridge some time ago ...and now realised I never sent the newest version. I think a version with just the bridge and transparency would be better since it will allow to use it over a wide range of terrain without having to make each variants. I think we are better of without shadow and strong perspective effect for the momment. Otherwise we will need to make shadow for the castle, forest hills.... then one will ask for the shadow to move around to follow the virtual sun movement during the day :).
I will post my stone bridge shortly.

Umm, are you suggesting putting bridges over castles, forest, and hills?

No, I was writting about making shadows for the trees, hills and mountains...and then animate them following time of the day. While we are at it, we could do the same for the shadow of units :).
meanwhile, here are the bridge over water...

I am loathe to critique, esp. as my artistic skills are minimal, but this looks a bit more cartoonish to me than a lot of the recent artwork.

These stone birdges were featured months ago in a wonderful screenshot of an underground cave with chasms, stone birdges, and stalactites. They look great to me.
