508. You wonder what level Leonidas had during the Battle of Thermopylae, and how many Persians he would have to kill to get a level-up.

There making a Lego Indiana Jones? That means that almost every popular movie series or individuals have been made in Lego! They are really expanding. I must say though that the old Indi's were the best. Not trying to get an argument started though.

No, there's no LEGO Lord of the Rings.

Indeed, 'tis truly sad. Maybe with the release of The Hobbit as two movies...

Except there's going to be one The Hobbit movie and then one non-Tolkien-based movie set between Hobbit and LotR, written by Peter Jackson. The first one will probably be good, but the second... :/

Is that a hobby? Making mini's? And are those sheilds one piece or a lot of pieces?

Also, notice that I said ALMOST EVERYTHING. Not everything.

If it isn't Tolkien based, then it won't be any good in my books.

i, as someone who is NOT a LOTR-fan, might not be up to date with all information regarding it, but didnt peter jackson leave the whole thing? (due to not getting the promised salary or something)

Well, Tolkien provides a fair number of hints about what happens between The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. Whether the second movie is good will depend on how faithful it is to Tolkien's hints.

Although I find it hard to imagine how someone could weave one plotline from the scattered hints in The Lord of the Ring and its appendices!

Wait, how could you state that the old ones were the best, when the new one hasn't come out yet? Haha, whatever.

The reason there are no official Lego LotR sets is because of all the copyright rules. I wish there were though, it'd be a HUGE money maker for all involved. But right now Lego is having a difficult time keeping up with demand. That's why there are so few Legos in stores anymore, it's easier to just sell them online.

And while you're all talking about LotR and accuracy, I say that the FotR was the worst of the Trilogy. Where is "Merry Tom Bombadil"? That just spoiled the whole movie for me.

Oh man, can you imagine how big The Ring would be in Lego? The already have torso sized walkie-talkies. And cats the size of horses.

And swords taller than them.
