That comes under the inclination to wear armour =P it's not only a cultural one, it's a practical one too...

Well if they were a bit more intelligent, they would do so if they expect fire or acid since I think they prefer acid to impact the armor than their skin :P

But yes, its rather strange that they will wear anything to protect themselves, if they can regenerate that good, why would they fear to get punctured, cutted or similar? if not look at wolverine and his lack of fear thanks to his glorious regeneration rate.

Someone remarked that the drawn wolf's stomach looks larger. This is because in the reference, his stomach doesn't actually go down that far, its just a large patch of fur. Missed a few lines between the back and the foreleg, disrupting the illusion.

Also either the wolf should be larger to accommodate its rider, or the goblin should be smaller. Lacking riding gear of some sort (prob crude) as well.

Be careful with eyes.

If anything its a little too human.
He should have bigger eyebrow bones and a broader forehead.

Agreed, also perhpas less curves in the face, make them more cube-like, but not too much.
Someone got to know me well, drowned me in their wishing well, making mistakes, we all do, worst of mine was trusting you a stranger

Agreed with the above - look at the sprites. They have very prominent brows and foreheads, with quite small chins. They have large pointy ears. They have quite deep-set eyes and long, pointy noses. You're getting there with this, but the lips are too big, and the perspective you've chosen makes a lot of the other features unclear.

Not to mention that front-on is a very uninteresting perspective. This looks like a passport photo...

Heh, now that's more like it.

He's a very serene looking troll - at peace with the world...

I'm not convinced his teeth could stick out like that with his mouth that tightly closed, though.

Getting better, but i'd still say the forehead's too small and the chin's too big. And the issue with the fairly uninteresting composition still stands.
