The Qesicans (Development Stage: Art/Submission to the EE)
Moderator: Forum Moderators
Also - i made these mechanics traits instead of altering the units, because I wanted something "in between" huge game alterations and a "no difference" feel mechanic. As a trait, many units have 6 or so options for traits. Qesicans get 2. As such, they've only a 1 in 3 chance of getting any particular trait, and sacrifice something else in order to get it.Weeksy wrote:Those traits are all WAY WAY WAY too game-breaking and/or powerful Just put them up with the other traits you can wind up getting and see what you think...
So far players like them; and the Qesicans have not proven more difficult to dispatch than normal.

It will still be invisible if you haven't installed the era yet...Qes wrote:Is there any way to get the monk image to be seen by people that dont have windows? This is the pbl i have so far.

And since it's the icon displayed by the addon server it's not a very good thing IMHO.
"Ooh, man, my mage had a 30% chance to miss, but he still managed to hit! Awesome!"

How then do I show a cool icon? Using one from my harddrive was bad, using one internally is bad - how to show an icon at all? I guess im confused. But then, when am I not.Noyga wrote:It will still be invisible if you haven't installed the era yet...Qes wrote:Is there any way to get the monk image to be seen by people that dont have windows? oh so nothing uniqueWeeksy wrote:you just show stuff inside the wesnoth images folder, and from there you'd go /units/undead-skeletal/whatever.png
hm
Does it break anything as it is? I mean you get to see them if you already have them (and are updating).
I always thought each faction used its own cool icons. But cest la vie.
I guess I'll keep it as is unless its causing errors of some kind.
Simply "not seeing it" is ok.
