There are a few clans but not the way you are probably thinking of.

Most of them are groups of people who prefer to play or not play a certain type of game or with a certain setting.
"There are two kinds of old men in the world. The kind who didn't go to war and who say that they should have lived fast died young and left a handsome corpse and the old men who did go to war and who say that there is no such thing as a handsome corpse."

Short answer: no, at least not in your sense of 'clans'.

Clans

Post by MDG »

Try the N3T clan here. Note this was literally a third or so down the page that you posted this new topic in  .

Try using the search functionality. If you search on "clan" and then read through some of the results, you'll hopefully start to understand the overall view taken of clans when it comes to Battle for Wesnoth.

You are probably better off getting on the MP server and playing regularly. As long as you are courteous to others and finish games you start (barring technical difficulties) you'll make some new friends to play with reasonably quickly.

I suspect having one foot in the past is the best way to understand the present.
