How do i save things in a .cfg format

How do i save things in a .cfg format

i'm learning from the wiki how to make scenarios and campaigns but then i noticed that it said i had to save it to a .cfg format how do i do this

note: i'm using a mac so the software needs to be either text edit or another mac compatible program

The .cfg format isn't anything special, just a plain text document.

Textedit is fine (unless you want to used exotic characters like "é"). Just make sure you save a "plain text" and change the extension to ".cfg"

If your file name is "WaffleMaster", type in the Save As box the filename "WaffleMaster.cfg".

I'm not sure why I specifically used that example. It could be that I just like typing "WaffleMaster".
