Level 0 Units and Zone of Control

I wanted to have a debate about ZoC for level 0 units.

I was thinking that level 0 units should have ZoC ability over other level 0 units only.

For example, a 2 goblin spearmen would be able to trap a bat if they could surround it.

Any thoughts?

I kinda like it at first glance, but I haven't had time to think of the ramifications. I'm guessing it would just screw undead over and slow them more than anything, as they have 2 pretty frequently used L0s. This would make UD v UD slower, but it would give Northies a small boost against the UD...

JW: Good point about making UD vs UD slower. That is the last thing I want to see.

speaking of UD vs UD, its more of a nightmare than shorties vs shorties
even without level 0 zoc its bad enough

back on topic..

imo level 0 should have a form of weakened zoc, like x2 move cost or something

Maybe you can make a post-apocalyptic campaign that explains how those rights were given to level 0's, and make it a fluffy setting without battle (you could have lots of bureacracy and debate and lawyers, instead). :P

level0s have a family to feed, too. devs are the evil landlords :twisted:

anyway. having NO level0 zoc is a clear, simple function. imho it should remain.
