female red mage bug

Post by kav »

During the female red mage's attack, for what looks like one frame she turns into a guy. I noticed it during TROW even with accelerated speed on in 1.2.

I think there are not many attack animations for the female mages. For the sole reason that some animation looks better than no animation. The small detail of the hood is better than not having the frame there. Maybe if you want to help you should try drawing it, Good Luck.
Thanks for posting somebody might notice it and fix it

If I was so inclined, where would I start? Could it be that there is a frame for it but it's just improperly linked? I know where the images are, what file actually handles the image animations?

though adding frames is always a good idea, I believe the problem is more serious than that. It's a WML bug, more specifically the female animations not being updated properly to use [if] tag.

I will look into it ASAP
