Visible work. ;)
True.

We will release by New Year's, or else!

While we're here, Turambar, how about a status report on Keltoi development for our curious Celt lovers in the audience?

Sure.

Basically, Flametrooper is working on the art. Art is done for all of the units, IIRC, but it could be improved on. The units are playable, I think, but they unfortunately cannot be playtested at this point, because the era they are in does not have any other factions in it yet (though it will). Sometime during Christmas Break, though, I plan on starting-and-completing the Laviniani, which will give them an enemy to fight. Then I will release the Ancient Era on the server. At that point the Ancient Era will be a bit more developed than the Imperial Era was back in August '05...

Do you need more information on the Ancient Dwarves?

It would always help. But with them, as with most factions, the main blocker is art.

Very true.

Maybe when the Dwarven Version of the Franken-Pack is out, I can take a crack at it.

If you got me some description on them (As in culture, beliefs, and general physical attributes) I could sprite one or two for you. I won't have time to do a whole faction though.

Hi
i was wondering if you already had a campaign idea for this faction
if you do that's too bad for the typing, if you don't here's an idea

during the war between the celts and the lavinians, the lavinians where taking big parts of the celtic lands. but as they ventured deeper in their teritory they stumbled upon a tribe of celts called the (****), their leader (*****) told the lavinians that they had no intention fighting them, but that the other tribes in the region where planning to attack them and that it wasn't safe for them here. he said he only told them this because he wanted no problems with the empire. the lavinian commanders doubted of what they should do, some said that they should retreat and wait for reincorcements , while others sais that no celts were to be trusted, including the (******)'s .eventualy after long nights of discussions the lavinians decided that they would retreat. but after some hours of walking they where ambushed by (you'll never gues who :P ) (*****) and his men, they had set up a trap for the lavinians, where they locked them in with big boulders and whiped out the two entire legions. as report of this came back to the lavinian capital, the emperor didn't find this verry funny and that's why he send a large and powerfull army to the region of the (******)'s to destroy them, the tribe leader (*****) thought this might happen so he ralied and allied al the other tribes in the region to fight the lavinian's (probably using some kind of trick he used to trap the lavinian's) but all these efforts proved quiet useless (because the lavinians where quit p****d off) and the lavinians destroyed all tribes in the region and replaced them with tribes they had in reserve from overpopulated region's :D
but as the battle was raging (*****) managed to escape and run to uncolonised lands where wild tribes lived (barbarion and such).

the story actualy really hapened , the tribe's name was the "eburonen" and the leader of the tribe was called "ambiorix" he fled over the rhein into germanic lands, the romans never caught him
but.... don't call him a coward (he actualy is, i know  ), he is the "hero" of my city and we even have a big statue to honor him in The middle of the town square

I hope it's usefull , other wise too bad :P
grts christiano
He was slain at last by Gothmog,
the Lord of Balrogs,
and such was the ferocity of his spirit
that after his death,
his body was consumed by flame.
