no its era pb
no, we use the same version, the same wesnoth version compiled on machines and the same era, especially cause we uses images for boxes, so its exactly the same versions, and we dont understand why it does not work, the desync only happend when we use either sidhs or dark elves, there is probably a config pb somewhere.

The wesnoth version is not that relevant but the version of the era. Just download it to both(all) machines at the same time and then try again. To chino2468: Well, post the error message. Not much to say without it. (The out of sync discussion wasn't directed at you.)
If you are using windows it might once again be that an ICC profile has slipped into some image file...

big update !
v0.18.0:
- updated all the necessary unit to match Wesnoth 1.1.12 level of art
- some new descriptions
- fixed all the undead variation so the units get plagued into something that match better the unit
- the RPG era got a safer random selection (lvl 0, lvl 1 without upgrade and berserkers removed from random selection)
- a few balancing updates
- dwarvish vehicules can get a new "armored" trait
Note : it should be compatible with Default+Kalifa v0.1.8

v0.18.1 would be ready shortly, from now only translation stuff has been updated, so if you don't use the current translations (currenly only Catalan and French), you don't need to update.
Btw i noticed a few balance problems :
1) Sidhe vs Drakes: I'm not totally sure of this, but it looks like. It seems that the Sidhes can't counter well the drakes. Their only good unit for the task, the Wanderer, if probably a little too weak for this.
Dunno what to do, perhaps make the Wanderer cheaper ?
2) Aragwaith Speaman Advancements : The problem is the Pikeman avancement is quite uninteresting compared to the Flagbearer because the advantages aren't interesting enough.
Pikeman vs Flagbearer :
HP : 44 vs 34 + Steadfast : not a huge difference
MP : 5 vs 4 : not a huge difference
Attacks : 17-2 pierce firststrike vs 15-2 pierce firststrike + 8-4 blade marksman : IMHO the +2 damage difference is too low to make the Pikeman really useful
Perhaps give the Flagbearer 14-2 without firststrike ? I think this would work.
IMHO not having firststike on the flagbearer makes sense, because while you mostly point the flag to the sky most of the time, so usually not pointed in the directlion of the enemy, unlike a normal long spear or pike.
Btw i noticed a few balance problems :

I played around a little with them and the spearman is a little like a one-armed bandit. Against normal Infantry I use swordman, because on of the four swings will probably hit and the scout is slightly better at hunting down horses and most of the time he is the first who encounters them though the fact he graps some villages. Ok this comes from a noob.
Something else at the moment even a dwarf is slightly bigger than those guys and also try to add TC.
I will put them up here when I got something more finished.

The thing that irks me about the flagbearer is the way it gets both Steadfast (which makes sense, but is a bit odd) and Marksman (which doesn't make sense on the unit) on a sword (which doesn't fit the unit, and is a weapon which rarely gets Marksman). Oh yeah, and suddenly going from 2 to 4 swings on its best offensive attack... but at the same time it doesn't become a dedicated attacker, because on attack it loses the extra resistances from Steadfast! It's weird.
Since the Pikeman focuses on the high first strike damage of the unit, the flagbearer could be changed to put even more focus on the relatively high HP and defensiveness of the Spearman tree.
Pikeman: 44 HP, 5 moves, 17-2 pierce first strike
Flagbearer: 49 HP, 4 moves, 10-3 pierce first strike, slow
(Captain: 58 HP, 4 moves, 11-4 pierce first strike, slow)
This also gives it the nice flagbearer-like quality of leading the charge, because it's used to slow the enemy before doing more attacks. Although, it's extremely not a RIPLIB advancement.

Pikeman gets +14 HP over spearman and Guardian gets another +7 HP? Just give the Guardian 58 HP and everything is solved (the Guardian's hugely frontloaded first strike and the Silver Shield's low defense and pierce weakness make up for the other advantages.)Noyga wrote:Hum right there is perhaps also a small problem between the Pikemens and the Horse riders :

The Lancer could use +3 HP also.
See, I don't like reducing the Silver Shield's attack - being a low defense, low HP horse dude makes the awesome attack the one thing that makes it particularly nice and useful.Noyga wrote:How about :

Say, how about I release an "official" version of the Aragwaith? Then there'd be an "official" way to reconcile out of syncs between the Extended and Imperial areas; plus I'm the one who's most interested in dealing with the particulars of the faction.
