Clans are yet another peurile attempt by the Rebellion to escape the sway of the Imperial Senate, which has only just been dissolved by the Emperor, making their efforts futile. The Moffs will be given jurisdiction over their individual forums, and we will enforce it with this technological terror.

Clans are to be thought of as something that I do not pay any attention to.
It's merely not worth it, if you ask me. It's like the "clans" on Nintendo WiFi, except with even less aparent point.

Think numbers in a username is wierd? Think maybe I should've gone for something original? I was thinking maybe Terevet, but if someone knew me elsewhere they wouldn't recognize me then
Terevet is my MP name however.

A clan can be useful to interchange strategies and to share game styles (among other things)Starev91 wrote:Clans are to be thought of as something that I do not pay any attention to.

A clan doesn't help with the sharing of strategies and game styles (that's already possible and encouraged now, and there are no clans currently) - it hurts it, because it restricts the sharing to one group of arbitrarily-selected people rather than the whole community.

Respect your opinion, but I do not share it. It is not my intention that a member fulfills rules or has limitations. What happens if several players are fans of a same race? Can form a clan destined to the improvements their abilities?turin wrote:A clan doesn't help with the sharing of strategies and game styles (that's already possible and encouraged now, and there are no clans currently) - it hurts it, because it restricts the sharing to one group of arbitrarily-selected people rather than the whole community.

So how, exactly, do you expect a clan to improve strategy-sharing?Lord_of_Wesnoth wrote:Respect your opinion, but I do not share it. It is not my intention that a member fulfills rules or has limitations.

it's a lot easier to ask a clan member then to ask some random person on the lobby for some tips.
I speak what's on my mind.
Which is why nothing I say makes sense.

That's just like saying it's a lot easier to ask someone you know for help than someone you don't know - so clans are a formalized way of defining this concept?
