Clans? What are they for?

Post by Clonkinator »

Well. I just saw that someone wanted to join a clan. Perhaps I would like to join too, but what is it useful for? Can someone tell me the use of clans?

Clans are groups where 1337 haXx0rz gang up. At least they were 5 years or so ago. Nowadays they are rather normal teams for computer games.

I believe clans are ways that lonely people with internet connections verify their pitiful existence by being part of something. Yah conformity.

A clan is a delusion invented by one individual, propagated to others, and for the purpose of allowing said persons to sneer at all other members of the overall community who have not the sense nor solidarity to believe in this beloved delusion.
It's all fun and games until someone loses a lawsuit. Oh, and by the way, sending me private messages won't work. :/ If you must contact me, there's an e-mail address listed on the website in my profile.

Sounds a lot like atheism/agnosticism, actually.

Okay, people, no more stabs at religion/atheism/agnosticism/etc. We have other threads for that.

A clan in BfW is for amusing itself with other players with similar styles, etc., nothing else.
You belong to a type of clan: the community of BfW.

A so negative vision of something so simple and inoffensive (I talk about a BfW's clan). Perhaps you did not write 1211 times from February (average of 151 post per month, 5 per day)? Is lamentable existence that? :? I do not think that thus it is.

Clans are for cool people to get together, and do cool things together, like making paper airplanes.

I mean com'on, what's cooler then a paper airplane?
I speak what's on my mind.

Which is why nothing I say makes sense.

Hmm, interesting outlooks on clans, I think we should put it to a poll...

I think LoW is Yoda. We should put that to a poll, too.
