Can't hurt to post them!Redeth wrote:I happen to have a few pirate sprites I made for an old abandoned project of mine, would you be interested in having a look at them?Temuchin Khan wrote: A Pirate line would seem to fit the faction best.

You could also make them use falconry.Temuchin Khan wrote:Lions can swim, they just prefer not to if they can avoid it, but I guess I see your point. I imagine the Eagle would be the best choice, then.Noyga wrote:Well i added them the Gryphon Riders because i wanted a flying or a swiming unit.
So replacing it by a Lion wouldn't help here... A Eagle or Eagle Rider would fill perfectly this role and is a great idea.
It is a quite noble hunting practice that could be turned into a fighting weapon.
The basic unit could start at falcon, hawk and upgrade to eagle.
I think it would match quite well with the completely-in-control cool style of Aragwaithi (that is how I see them at least

How about this:
Falcon Fledgling -> Falcon Hunter -> Falcon Warrior

Alright, here they are, with a nice setting and allTemuchin Khan wrote:Can't hurt to post them!Redeth wrote: I happen to have a few pirate sprites I made for an old abandoned project of mine, would you be interested in having a look at them?

I'm also posting the unit tree I had in mind, some other names I came up with, and a few names for ships, just for the sake of it. It's all yours...
(I can provide the individual .pngs to anyone interested)

Thanks! A few of these guys could certainly fill the role of water unit for the bandits, maybe even for one or two other factions.Redeth wrote:Alright, here they are, with a nice setting and all :) Like I said, I abandoned that project (I wanted to make a full faction or maybe two based on pirates and the colonial age), so none of them are 100% finished (no TColor, their faces suck, shading not completed, etc.).Temuchin Khan wrote:Can't hurt to post them!

But it's not my decision, so what do you think, Noyga?

Wow, they are cute, especially the one in the center !
BTW, for this era, I don't need that much, just a single line.
Also, there is probably too much lvl 4 for a normal era, 1 (maybe 2) lvl 4 per faction is ok, lvl 4 in almost every line is too much, except if others faction of the era do that, which is not the case in the Extended Era.
And for this era i would avoid units with guns (other than dwarves).
However, the rest could go in the Naval Era, i already have some ships made by Fynmiir.
Note for flametrooper : most of the outlaws go up to level 3 in the Extended Era.

v 0.12.2 is out !
Here are the changes :
v0.12.1 : some very minor updates
v0.12.2 : striped the images from comments & profiles to prevent crashes on Windows systems (now that i know how to do this
)... All Windows are advised to update.
And as usual, those two releases should stay compatible with v0.12.0

I'm not sure if it was this same bug that just got fixed for Windows, or another one, or something that has nothing to do with the Extended Era, but I was playing EE 0.12.0 earlier today and the game froze up on me. Like I said, I don't know what happened, but I thought I should report it nonetheless.Noyga wrote:v 0.12.2 is out !

I left out an important bit of information! I was playing it on a Mac, not on Windows. Is there any known bug that makes EE crash on a Mac?Temuchin Khan wrote:I'm not sure if it was this same bug that just got fixed for Windows, or another one, or something that has nothing to do with the Extended Era, but I was playing EE 0.12.0 earlier today and the game froze up on me.
