Petrify Ability

Right now "stone" is just an ability that can't be used in standard MP games, since there's no cure...

what if we have a variation of stone called petrify? where the unit is petrified for one turn, i suggest that this ability be given to the orc shamans, since orcs are such a dull and boring race

Great. Code up the WML, create the unit concept and art, submit it to the MP devs and then all you need is for them to approve and you're set! :D

I've said this before, I'll say it again: Default is probably not going to get any more units, abilities, etc. BUT, that does not mean we have no need for new specialties - they can be used in UMCs!

I havent touched WML yet, but i've seen the work of others (ex. DOTM, Survival)

Where do i start?

JW's being a bit disingenous here; the last step is just this side of impossible for the reasons given by Turin.

However, (as Turin also said) it could make a decent custom unit.

1. Look at other people's work (I believe some of the user-made factions have WMLed special abilities).

(just a suggestion) To save time, could you not just copy the code for Stone and then alter it slightly? Or maybe not. :?

This is (almost) the Lullaby ability in JW's "Abilities that have potential" thread.

I also plan to include this in my Abilities Era, but am having some trouble with it. If you manage to code it, please head to the WML Workshop and fill me it.
