sorry, i feel like a lemon. i am new to this, as you've guessed.

listen - if i download the 1.1.7 version will my scenario suddenly have lots of bugs in it?

Your units will. Animation frames, abilities, and weapon specials are done differently now. I cannot think off the top of my head whether any of the events will fail. I don't think so.
