Hmm...I don't think that you can deal 0 damage. Also, if there were such an ability I'd rather it deal a lot of damage so that if you lost a unit to it he'd be easy to kill.

Anyway, I don't think I want that mechanic in the EOM; it's just too complicated.

well alright hmmmmmmmm for like the fallen celestials you could have ones with wing and ones without because according to the history some winged ones gouged their eyes out. like this.

Winged Fallen Celestial
cost: 30
lvl: 2
hp: 70
attacks:
flaming sword 10-2(peirce)
claws 5-4(beserk)
resistance:
holy

fallen celestial
cost: 15
lvl:1
hp:47
attacks:
flaming spear 5-3(peirce
resistance:
holy

i would imagine that they would be much creeper and darker than normal celestials.

I bet they would also take their wings out to distance themselves from their previous existence, or others would get them cut out to "level the field".

That's an interesting idea Cuyo, but my original intention was that the blue-skinned creatures were only highly suspicious and jealous of each other. They believe that they can control other beings through either force, magic, or persuasion, and so don't need to level the playing field of others who are different. Because of this they wouldn't require either the eye removal or wing removal, but Winged Ones who turn to join the forces of the Aberrations unerringly remove their eyes to gain the dark powers that are taught only to those who have shown their commitment by completing this right of passage. The powers granted them through the dark secrets of the blue-skinned creatures heighten not only their other 4 senses, but also awaken the latent magical energy found inside all creatures that the blue-skinned creatures have learned to harness for their selfish desires.

Basically, converted Winged Ones should be BADASS.

Badass as in another leader option?. Badass as in costly recruitable unit?. Badass as in great campaign protagonist?.

Maybe ALL of the above?.

Personally I like the fact of "fallen celestials". Perhaps they could look something LIKE this.
Not EXACTLY, surely, this is just a crappy edit of archangel.
But this should give you the main image... :)

Hmm...They'd need a different stance and colors. Also, I'm going to add more description later, so that might help you with the first draft.

I think it would be cooler if you either added more blood from the eyes, or a bandage around them. Claws are a must. Oh, BTW, he's got an eight pack :P

Okay, so I'm thinking we need to hammer out what the recruit list is again along with the leaders.

I've changed my mind about the leaders not being recruitable, with the exception of the "fallen" Celestials. I think they should be non-recruitable leaders (non-recruitable because they're relatively rare). The Thrull I think should be recruitable, just as the monsters they create/summon.
