more on Celestials and Abborations
hi all. as you've probably guessed I'm new here so go ahead and correct me as much as you want but i was thinking. Celestials sound a lot like Angels to me. Abborations sound a lot like demon to me. so what if it went like this.
as Time went on The Celestials made a name for themselves, so that the wouldn't sound so ominous to the people of the lands. They started calling themselves Angels as they went around spreading their message of light.
Soon though The winged Angels couldn't carry the extra burden of toting around the none winged ones so they banished their none winged brethren
After a brief war the none winged Angels went and joined the abborations.
There they fueled the already burning hatred for angels. The abborations decided to put a plan together to destroy the Angels. For the same reason the Celestials changed their name The abborations changed their name. Demons as they were now called figured out a way, through magic, to "posses" None Celestial beings. They began to make havoc in all races of none Celestial beings. Soon the Angels found out and came to see what was going on. The " Possed ones" as they were now called attacked The angels in one swift surprise move. The angels were forced to do the unthinkable. They attacked and killed many of the possed ones, ones they had sworn to protect. Many Angels lost their lives because they would not attack the possed ones. The ones that did attack though emerged victorious. But it was not a victory that they celebrated. The demons were so happy about this that they did it and did it until very few
Angels were left. But one day the Angels figured out a way to " cast out" as they called it a demon that had possed a being. With this knowledge they began to win more and more battles. Soon there were no more possed ones left. The demons however out numbered the angels at this time so in an act of desperation the led a full scale attack on the angels.
it was long and bloody and the angels, Being the better fighters, Emerged victorious. But they did not kill all of the demons. The Demon Leader along with some of his chief officials escaped. They began experimenting on making more powerful demon units. Orcs were created as a result of this experimenting. Unfourtunalty they were not what The demons wanted. Soon they accomplished their goal. The made Strong Winged Demons which they called Dark Angels. As time went on The angels and demons fought many more wars and eventually faded into myth. As Myths they still fought and they en-sighted many wars in the none celestial beings. it is prophesied though that one day a leader will be born. A none celestial leader. And he will lead the Angels in a final victory over the demons at the end of time.

stof42: thanks for trying, but I'm really trying to avoid Angels/Demons as much as possible. Plus, that history doesn't fit very well with what we already have.
Cuyo/Jester, I like the Vamp story so far. There's a few minor things I want to say that I'll write a little later. (sorry)

Azu'rial, then?
They're obviously angels. Look at the graphics, and the names of some of the units. I don't see how not calling them angels will change that...

well if you think angel is a sissy name then you might have the wrong idea of angels. after all the bible describes people falling on their face's in front of gabriel and he is just a messenger. imagine if michael or Raphael appeared to someone. they might have a heart attack and die. but anyways is was an idea so its ok. i'll just put on my thinkin cap and keep thinking

Listen to what I'm saying. We've talked about this issue enough. Get over it. Are Gryphons angels? (they have wings) How about bats?
The fact that they're humanoid and have wings does not make them angels!!
