seting day night to underground

when making a simple multiplayer map in the wesnoth editor how can i set a map based underground to not have day and night like some of the campaigns have in caves?

You can't. You must make a multiplayer scenario.

The steps are easy to follow, but a person new to the process might feel a little uncomfortable doing it. Instructions are here.

When you do that, the only thing you're going to change is replace {DEFAULT_SCHEDULE} with {UNDERGROUND} and you're all set.

Not related to your question, but a word of warning: that will probably result in your scenario being unbalanced towards chaotic units. You should make sure you have enough lit cave terrain.
