I like the woodsman, the warrior though nice, looks to elvish archery, while the woodsman has a dark feel

I think it is important to claim your own color scheme, instead of keeping the Wood Elf one. Here are the current elf color schemes:
Wood elves have forest green and brown.
High Elves have silver and blue. (Which, BTW, will be AWESOME. Go Fingolfin!)
Wild Elves have seagreen and gold. (Which I like a lot also.)
Dark Elves have black and purple.
for these evil-sidhe-elves, may I suggest.... black and forest green? Or perhaps black and brown?

More likely, what you used in the cape of the Woodsman (yes, it does look awesome) looks good as signature color (i do not remeber seeing it in other Elfs). Combine with other color of your choice.[/IMO]
So, are these guys all going to look like the lighty-armored kind of Rebels, or the otehr units will have some Sidhe-like (heavier) garments?.

Anyway being assassins in all they'd have light clothing not to way them down

It's good to see that our teams is growing, and development is returning to full charge...
I`ll try to answer most of the questions of the last replies in this post - sorry for taking so long to answer and having to write in such ways (I would prefer to write specific answers for every reply, but I'm low on spare time), but I'll guess this will do, for now. Here we go:
- Lavinians vs. Sidhe: this looks like the perfect opposites for me. The Lavinian legions. marching with fantastic numbers and elaborate formations, facing the wailing, dancing, chaotic Sidhe, spinning with fury and haste through the field. Beautiful to imagine, I think...
Is there some place where I may find Lavinian history? How are the other elves related to them? I originaly thought the Sidhe history as based on elves distrust of mankind - if the Lavinians are historically close to the Roman Empire, we could hink about corruption, slavery and all. In this cenario, our elves would represent a desperate fight for freedom and the old, wild ways of the forest people, who are slowly falling to Lavinian rule (just watched V for Vendetta and this rebellion thing is giving me a lot of ideas!
)
- Our (global) match: that would make things more interesting. However, finding time to play will be hard, on the next days. Maybe you just cant imagine that, but since I've returned to the forums I havent got the time to play a single wesnoth game. Yes, it's that bad...
And I miss this game a lot!
- Mt. Stormkeep: saw the scenario, and loved it! Interesting in concept and design... However, if we include it in a campaign, please make some different "keep" destined to the Tempests - they have some shellter in the top of the peaks, away even from the rest of the nobility.
- Sidhe funerary customs: Yes, we have some sort of "mace problem" now.
As we desperately need impact damage, perhaps we could made this some sort of "touch" weapon, not a mace. Or old ghosts attacking their foes with hasty winds (could that be counted as impact?). However, the fisrt text will be about Sidhe death and burial. Oddly enough, it will start with a young Sidhe being taken to their burial grounds for a ceremony of "namesgiving". For them, birth and death would be linked in every aspect - their ancestors would watch over the young, through the shadows of their forests. I'm reading the history thread right now, and will soon post there...

hehehe, good to see you again, friend! And nice to know you are in the team again. You r contributions are always welcome here. 
- Avatars: Kestenvarn, if you wish you can work on some of the Sidhe "historical" characters, for the fun of it. Vanimaro is a good choice. I am an admirer of your work, and find your Sidhe ghosts quite impressive.
- Furies: I would prefer Turin's suggestion, for thinking Rage keeps the furies closer to their original "spirit". Charge would be interesting, but I prefer them as mad-dancing-spinning-katar-wielding-one-elf-armies.
The charge thing gives me a "leaping" impression, and, although it contributes to the "all or nothing" feeling, berserk/rage is more like the whole fury thing. Things will clear up with their history, I hope...
As for the numbers, I also think Turin's suggestion is a good one. 3-4-5 seems a good choice, and, if it proves not to be, we can always balance things to help that work. I would prefer that their high number of attacks per round remains untouched - they should be unaturaly fast and vicious (for, in fact, their speed comes from something beyond the mortal realms). Refering to range attacks, that could be interesting from the perspective of a versatile unit, but the Trackers fill that role. Sidhe Furies are more specific - they live with a single focus in mind, and that is face to face combat.
- Ancestors: I'll try to think, for a while, in wich should be their melee weapon. A mace would break faction concept (I cant imagine, right now, how to include a blugeoning weapon in a faction that uses swords all the time, and has a concept closely related to "slashing" and "piercing" - bludgeon implies something more related to consistency, resistance, brute force (things trollish and dwarvish).
- Night Elves: you know, I always tought that these guys would be the perfect antagonists for the Wild Elves. Something related to their long exile to the forgotten woods, the separation of two peoples that used to live together, and an ever raging war, since then. Liked their design, also, specially the mask... I believe dark blue/green should fit well for them, as well as some "leaves" hanging on their costumes - sort of camouflage. What do you think? (An observation: back in the first times when Casual mentioned this faction, I thought of the Shadowdancers being a reminiscent of this time, and, so, a unit that could be common in both factions. This would add an interesting conflict - a warrior group, using the same rules of conduct, shattered by diferent views on combat and life)

What made me think of the night elves was a part of a poem by Yeats.

The night elves prefer arrows in the back, not swords in the back

It is, though, interesting to notice that night elves and wild elves 'touch' in many places, namely:
-the nightblade and shadowdancer are clearly in the night elves's spirit.
-the wanderer and upgrades, with their skirmisher and poison, seem in tune as well
-the warrior line is clearly close to the wild elves. Swordsmen particularly, though they carry bows which the sidhe don't use, are quite similar to the warrior -> bladespinner -> wardancer line, with high-reps and low hp. I also imagine them as having a sort of code of honor. Perhaps not how others would see honor... say more the way the mafia might see honor.
- There is also a slight similarity magic-wise. The night elves sorcerers mostly use cold-based dark magic, but I think it would be nice if they would also have a (weaker) fire-based lightning attack. It would help them deal with undead, and would underline the lineage.

The rage 3-4-5 has been done, and is in current Imperial Era SVN. I don't even recognize the name. What did he do in Sidhe history?
BTW, I'm going to be giving a name to the Lavinian Emperor who reigned right before the final Marauder invasions began. It would also be nice to have a name for the reigning Wild Elf at that point in time. (This is all for the Imperial Era Campaign, BTW.)
