In the last survey i've seen the average American Gamer is 26 as well. Oddly enough the average age at which Americans (first) get married is also 26.

What's good on the internet is that people don't judge you at your age. They won't think or say that your opinion and/or contribution is bad/useless because of your young age (while it happens in real life very often).

Speaking from experience there Tux?

I would be curious to see how old people think I am.

Well people use to think that I am older than I really am when they see me :P But it used to be so...

12... Almost 13... O shoot! I forgot about COPPA! Well, at least I asked my parents if it was okay before I signed up... I don't wanna be a criminal...

Hmm... I've been playing RPG games since I was, like 6... Got hooked on Zelda: Link's Awakening around then.. Started making my own sort of 'D&D' like thing when I was 8.. Still not finished yet... But I've progressed sence then! And I'm happy to say that Wesnoth helped me greatly, I adopted it's damage/resistance system and abonded my old system that allowed players to take 7 hits and only take 7 damage from it

I also made my RPG's maps with Wercator(look for 'Rashi', 'Kraman', and 'Karsa' on the Wercator homepage).

Hmmm... After I traveled to Europe in december/january, I stopped using my gameboy...(Actually, I'm resting my feet on the bag it's still inside... Unless my elder sister 'borrowed' it  ) I've moslty been using my snes9x emulator, playing Seiken Densetsu 3. That's a fun adventure game...

I started playing strategy games at about 8, but it was all board games then. Afrika Korps was the 1st I think. Then the other Avalon Hill games -- Squad Leader etc.

Glad to find Wesnoth it's a lot of fun.
