I had pleasure to play on this map.. some random thoughts:

I think both deep water and swamp in center favours drakes - decrease mobility of other factions, and doesn't affect drakes at all. Also it's easier to attack with drakes, since you can put saurians in center - on swamp, just before night attack. Advantage isn't really big - maybe just remove 2 hexes of swamp?

Since center is (IMO) easly-defendable, maybe reduce wait&win factor of this map by adding some terrian on sides?

Also IMO a lot of grassland/flat terrian favour a little loyalists.

But I like idea of map, and 2 games which I've played (so far) on it were really nice. :-)

I had and have a lot of fun playing it, thank you very much sauron!

That the villages in the center are now removed is a great plus for ballance.
Speak about species, i think humans have a advantage in this map, because there is mainly grassland.
