I find that one of the most annoying things in internet groups.

Some guy who has heard the name of some great developer or gamer but hasn't even been there on the same time starts hypeing up the dude, or starts screaming and yelling hi when the other returns for a moment...

Not attacking you, just generally. You at least did it rather maturely, but when some noob does it it gets annoying.

Have a happy day. Don't let me ruin it.8)

0.4.2 I think it was (villages still looked really weird and there weren't much of a campaign). At the good time when there were most orcs and elves, lizzards (firebreathing or not) almost made me stop playing.

EDIT: think it was 0.4.2 not 0.4.5 but who cares...

I started playing during 0.9.4 but not continuously since then. Kinda stopped shortly for about a month or two and missed a version number or two I think. The game is mostly the same since then so there's not much to reminisce about, although a few minor things come to mind. This strikes me as an interesting topic though, as it sounds like the game's changed slowly but surely for most of the people here. It makes me wonder what 1.1 will be like. . . :?:

IMHO, this topic is at least as relevant as the "where did you hear about wesnoth from?" one. Can it be stickied? ;)

Why the heck not? What's one more sticky? Maybe we can fill the first page with 'em.

My brother got it in late 2003, so I think about 0.4, But I am not shure.

Only found out about this site about two weeks ago, My dad always used apt-get to download It so I never saw this site.

This poll is going to need to be updated once 1.1 comes out. Too bad you can't add new choices to an existing poll. Maybe the next version (if there is a next version) should list some potential future versions, e.g. 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 2.0...
