bugs on the legion

1 - iluminate doesn't illuminates
2 - centurions and aquilifiers are shown as level 2

I think illuminate was meant that way. its not like a banner emits light after all.
Oh no look out its a ray gun.
You should move to avoid the rays
the rays are coming out of the gun
if you are hit by the rays
you will be shot by the rays
the rays are fast so you should be fast to
can you win against the fast rays from the gun?

Age of Heroes Imperial will be in Imperial Era 0.6.

I've fixed the level 2 centurions and aquilifers.

I've rebalanced some of the Legion units to be more balanced. Now, we need to tone down the aragwaithi and marauders (marauders not so much).

Actually, marauders are a little underpowered, every time I play against them, they lose, no matter if the opponent is AI, human or pro human.

like I said, I think its was that way on purpose, as a banner doesn't emi t light, it simply frightens the enemy and inspires the men to fight harder.

looks like the bard skill that was talked about a while ago
but why should a legion's banner inspire the enemy lawfull units?

You can always use a custom name for the lluminate skill

No, you really can't. It is impossible without changing the game code, AFAICT.

By the way, if anyone starts wondering when 0.6 will come out... soon. Hopefully today or tomorrow. One thing anyone could do to help is make more balancing suggestions. I've taken several of Doc Patterson's already.

I really think the aragwaith are good, they play a bit like orcs.
the swordsmen has 6-4 on melee for 14 gold(thats almost overpowered)and the spearman is good against anything a lavinian player can use.
the warlocks are like upgraded saurian tribalists and the legionnaires are weak to fire. They only take a little different plaing style asduring a normal game, like with them you have to put up a defense line behind the forests, not in the forests(at least against lavinians)
Most people just dont see the benefits of a good defense everywhere,even on swamps,sands and snow, it is very hard for the opponent to put up a strong defense line
another advantage is that they dont take much xp to level up(at least not the melee fighters)
The scout could use a little more hp though.

i also think there is a bug with the pikeman(upgraded spearman), it has the same attack as the spearman, it only has slightly increased hp

Mabye there could be a Lavinian Marksman (L1) too advances to Lavinian Assasin or Lavinian Composite Bowman. From there to Lavinian (made up unit name) or Lavinian Heavy Archer. Lavinias have the problem, that there are cheap units, that can kill them very well.
