Second Elf War Scenario

So at first I was kicking the dwarves' asses. I sent my red team over to the dwarven keep on the left, and sent my blue team to commence battle with the right dwarven keep, and flank the left keep. I defeated the green team's leader, and recruited lots of Archers and Shamans. I had a couple of units near the right dwarven keep, and had them almost defeated. I sent Rewny(I think that's his name) over to a village near the right dwarven keep for him to heal(his health was red). I had about 1 Archer and 1 Fighter keeping the yellow leader and one or two units at bay. I sent Rewny(with health about at the middle), to kill the yellow team's leader, and got him down to red health. I still had one unit, kinda covering Rewny. So I stupidly attacked the leader(should of let Rewny heal more), and the leader dropped Rewny's health to about 6. The yellow leader was down in the red too, but I was gonna move Rewny over to a village to heal next turn. During yellow's turn, he sent an archer over, got lucky, and killed Rewny. Man was I pissed. I had forgotten to save, and would've had to do the whole scenario all over again. Also, those damn Dwarvish Fighters are really cheap. Hardly any of their attacks miss, no matter what terrain. Yellow had amassed a ton of them at the start, and it really messed me up. Any body able to give me any tips on this scenario? Not that I feel like doing it all over again just yet...

Oh and also, I was playing on easy difficulty.

When was your last save before the autosave?

On tactics :

1) if you play generally keep both sides together.
If you attack in the 2nd scenario you should attack with the red straight on the green leader and with the blue his flank. If almost all green are dead then you can attack with both sides the yellow (send red leader + 2 or 3 others to kill the green leader.

Do not use the sword if you attack dwarves with elvish fighters but the attack with the bow.

2) Keep both sides balanced. This means see that both sides are even strong (in gold and in experience) because in some scenario's later on they can not really help eachother.

Then some bad news the campaign as on the server is broken.(You get an error when going to the 3th scenario) and the author of it has abandonned it.

The good news I have posted a version of the 3th scenario in the campaign topic, so can get it there and replace it.

anyway, just stay together, an dlet the dwarves come to you. archers will slaughter them in the forest.

Thanks, a lot, I had an error (and this scenario was not dificult for me) and I didn't know the cause. I will try to replace it.
