Thread necro! Of course, it's my thread, and I don't see the need to make a new one when it is regarding the same subject. I finally have time to give it a melee, ranged, and defense sprite, but the problem is... I'm not sure exactly what to make the frames (i.e. what does he do for attack).

I'd create the other frames, myself, too. The Cactose sprite was actually made from some heavy editing of the Wose walking corpse... you can see the similarities if you look at the body, though. I need it to be woselike still, as it is a Cactus Wose, not just a walking Cactus, meaning it still needs the woselike features... I'm just trying to decide if this is the fine line where I stop, or if I should go further and do the vertical grooves that you suggest I do :/

I like the flower idea a lot :D . I did notice the lack of spines, I'm still trying to make them look good. I haven't spined the bottom of the Cactose (Cactus Wose) because I do agree it needs to look more like a cactus then roots. I do think the spines I did add help make it more of a cactus, thoug...

If you haven't already got somebody working on the cactose, I'd like to try. I've only got the part of the idle stance right now, but I'd like to see if you think this is going down the right path
