Re: Lore Collection Project
Oh crud... I accidentaly deleted the sixth campaign file for Heir to the throne. Specificaly I accidentaly blanked then saved the seige of einlanfador. Could I get a clean coppy? I'm worried I might have damaged other files, though I figure this as unlikely Here you go. Thank you! Back to work then.

Re: Would like to learn
Alright, I shall use this GIMP then. *Surfs web for download site*
It's free! I figured it was some low budget version of Photoshop, but it one-upped my expectations by being free!
Thanks for the advice guys!

Would like to learn
I'd like to learn how to sprite, so may I ask if there are any programs that make it easier, what resolutions and color depth are best, and some advice for keeping the proportions reasonable? As well as any other advice the regular spriters can think of. I run a mac, by the way, so that limits my pr...

Visual scriptwriter
I would like a visual scriptwriter for campaigns or scenarios. One that lets you write events to map tiles, and lay down units then edit their abilities, and get an intro message and a victory message in before you have to wade into the script it's self. It would make things much easier. It could be...

Re: WIP: Short story based off of Ooze mini campaign SPOILERS
Here's chapter 9 by the way. Opinions, and advice are appreciated on EVERYTHING. I will fix mistakes once they are pointed out, and already have may times. I decided that writing more was the best way to break out of the summertime blues Chapter 9: Of bars, booze and compititions While I had initial...

Re: WIP: Short story based off of Ooze mini campaign SPOILERS
Master ooze, welcome to lawful good. I prefer the more chaotic side of the spectrum. I love playing with morality in my stories. Good and evil are interesting concepts. I'm used to double-posting being something one gets quite yelled at, even if one wants each chapter in a different post :-p. But i...

Re: WIP: Short story based off of Ooze mini campaign SPOILERS
Is the trainer's name Frist, Frith or Firth? ;) Gah! Fixed it I think now. Thanks! *Waits for a post so he can post the next chapter* Chapter 7: Good and Evil I headed to the east side of town to meet this ‘High Preist Jal’” On my way to the east though I encountered a rather despondent looking you...

Re: WIP: Short story based off of Ooze mini campaign
This line seems a little clunky. I would recommend a more flowing approach like "I bit my tongue with indignation. I was plenty to worry about, and certainly not mindless! Something told me I should remain silent, however - maybe the two guards flanking him with an air of austere suspicion.&qu...

Re: WIP: Short story based off of Ooze mini campaign
I like this. I think you did a good job in trying to put the reader in the ooze's perspective! Yay! The original writer likes it! *Celebrates* Anyway... any and all advice is good Chapter 5: The mayor I approached the mayor’s manor with some trepidation. Two guards stood before the door, but both l...

Re: WIP: Short story based off of Ooze mini campaign (SPOILERS)
what? no illustrations? other than that pretty good(although you should probably warn that this gives away a lot of the story from the campaign) I can't draw worth knocking two sticks together I fear. Also, it sucks having to wait till someone else posts before I can post my next chapter. As for sp...

Re: WIP: Short story based off of Ooze mini campaign
I didn't think what bit about how accurate that could be, and thought of it as a story completely separate from wesnoth, and thought of it as pretty enjoyable. May I suggest writing a short story about the sea monster from heir to the throne? I would love to know what it's story is. Sure. I can wri...

Re: New: Ooze Mini-Campaign
I liked the campaign so much I'm writing a short story based upon it.
