Oops.. sorry about the repost there. I am glad that the second one has some merit. BTW, thanks for the mention, but that is one of the two I mentioned. I probably should have given names. Two Brothers and The South Guard are the ones that I seem to keep playing to build up some skill.. though as I m...

Preventing double add-ons and a skill column
First I would like to say that I followed all the suggestions and didn't see this already posted, but if it has been; please accept my apologies. My idea would be for a menu or window that shows which add-ons you have previously downloaded. Though, if easier; when the add-on list is opened it would ...

Thank you Laudimir and Garack. I will give that a try and see what I can do. Grats on beating it Santi, but really that wasnt much help imho. Based on Laudimir's advice I can see that I should have more units. Perhaps if you want to make it a bit more challenging Santi, try it with just the two unit...

Konrad II, I was just stating my thoughts on the first (or first few) time(s) that I played it. Those were the thought-suggestions that I was thinking. I didnt really mean them here as suggestions to the game developers; though, I have thought about still suggesting them in the stated thread. Sorry ...

Granted I am a Newbie, so not sure how serious you all will take me, but I have/do play many TBS games. I think that an option of fog of war would be a great thing, but also the ability that ranged attacks not needing to be adjacent would also help in this area. I have not had the honor of playing a...

Tidings; Good or Ill
First let me apologies if someone has already started a topic for this, but I scanned through the 22 pages and didn't see one. In this scenario Gerrick and an Elven archer need to get to the Northern part of the map. Gerrick is going back to deliver a message. Neither can die, but about every turn 2...

Newbie – Ver 1.2.5
First let me say that I didn’t read anyone else’s post before writing this. I didn’t want to find that anyone’s ideas would influence what I might have thought when I started playing BfW about a week ago. There was a ton of links to BfW out there and I was worried it was one of those resourc...

Well honestly, I was just randomly surging the net and happened on something that was talking about "The Battle for Wesnoth" and I got really curious. I dont remember what site it was, but I downloaded it and gave it a try. I still cant believe this is a free game. I LOVE IT!
