Re: Wesnoth-Like icons for the Forums
No. Even if you meant 'add' dimenision attributes to images within forum cells. Icons within cells are not scaled, they are normal size when smaller than cell or cut when larger. And cell sizes have to have set dimensions to keep the forum table coherent. The browser resizes the topic icon because ...

Re: Wesnoth-Like icons for the Forums
Well, your icons look really nice but i'm a bit irretated by the scroll for unread and read topics. They look to different in my opinion. Maybe it would allready be enough to remove the ribbon in read topics or only unroll a pice of the scroll so the scroll is not unrolled complete. Do you know what...

Re: Wesnoth-Like icons for the Forums
I think the notice.gif
is a bit to unobtrusive how about giving it a seal at the bottom or something. Like that it would look more like an anouncement.

Re: Wesnoth-Like icons for the Forums

I am happy to hear that you are interested. 1. the colors of the scrolls won't work well with the background 2. the green orbs + green poison is confusing Yes, i think you are right on that point. Re: Compiling Wesnoth 1.4 on Ubuntu fails (missing png support)
Give these packages a try: libfreetype6 libfreetype6-dev Your problem with installing freetype library by hand probably occures because the install placed it in a location the compiler does not search for its headers/library. EDIT: Sidenote: Its important that you allways install the dev packages of...

Re: Compiling Wesnoth 1.4 on Ubuntu fails (missing png support)
Have you read the prerequisites for compiling wesnoth? You seem to be missing the sdl packages needed by wesnoth. Install: libsdl1.2debian libsdl1.2-dev libsdl-image1.2 libsdl-image1.2-dev libsdl-mixer1.2 libsdl-mixer1.2-dev libsdl-net1.2 libsdl-net1.2-dev and all other prerequisites listed on the l...

Re: Improvements for user interface and game control
I know/can imagine that some of the points i mentioned are of non trivial nature and difficult to implement, but it would be nice if the developers / project leaders would say what they think of the suggestions and if they are accepted as future features. All of the points don't touch gameplay and j...

Improvements for user interface and game control
Hi, here some improvments that i would suggest to be implemented for a nicer gameplay and usability. I have noticed that when ever some action takes place within the game the complete UI (e.g. buttons) is blocked until that action is finished completly. Is it possible to decouple the UI from the gam...
