C:\Program Files\Wesnoth 1.4\data\campaigns
Move it to

C:\Program Files\Wesnoth 1.4\userdata\data\campaigns
I did both, but it doesn't seem to work.

I remember putting the cfg files seperately somewhere around and the era showed up, only the game crashed so I thought the folder is in the wrong place. I'll keep trying.

You are more likely to get good help at the tech support forums. I can't help you, but I reckon the people there could.

I have a working (for me, at least!) Devling campaign made, but I am wondering how to make the auto-name work. All my recruited devlings are nameless and traitless. I have tried including the name/trait stuff with them, but...

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

If they are both nameless and traitless, you're probably missing the race definition.

Well I've not worked on any new senarios for my campain, because I decided to go and test the ones I already have (the first 6). Already I've got a list of things to change 2 pages long, not including typos (of which there were many)

I am please to announce that a complete (though unpolished) version of my campain is uploaded

To give feedback or get more details see the senario/campain development thread.

No one reads these, do they...

Hello. How consistent is it to plunk devlings somewhere below wesnoth about a month's travel away, during sometime when wesnoth would have fielded an army there? :)

Alternatively, I could substitute the default races for ones in the EoM, but that would entail further trouble here. The current setup could work, if the EoM is on another continent, instead of another world.

Also, http://wolff.to/campaigns/dev/Era_of_Myths.tgz does not work. Where can I download this for the 1.5.x series?

wolff.to *does* *not* *work*.

If it's not on 1.5's campaign server, then it doesn't exist. (you can copy the 1.4 version and run wmllint on it though)

I should probably do that myself, and upload a copy onto the 1.5 server.

Also DDR, it's not very consistant, but I don't realy care as long as the campain is good. I think that in the end if people try to be consistant to my campain their going to end up trying to follow a strange set of rules that I make up for a senario (or mystique's) conveniance.

For example, did you know that drinking a potion with drake blood (or things with dragon's blood), makes your corpse resistant to necromancy for awhile?

I certainly didn't, until I trying to think of things to make a particular senario more interesting. I figure as long as I'm relativly consistant, and it works in the game, I wouldn't worry about it to much. However, for other people I can't expect them to play through all my campains (especialy the one that isn't released yet, and probably won't be done for another several months) to know all these things.

What would be most consistant (while still following your campain), is if the devlings are running around in the underground of the EoM world, from the underground of the EoM world. It would involve changing your enemies around a bit. (I don't know about the later stuff I only got through the first 3 senarios)

Edit: also, it goes back to the savant sprite when it levels from arbiter to librarian.

On the other hand, in Norse Mythology drinking a dragon's blood enables you to understand the languages of animals.

I don't see much posting in this thread. I'm curious as to why that is. Is the EOM not being updated anymore?

It is/isn't

To explain, I am starting to be very busy with school/ EoM campain/ other things / work. When I slow down on that, I plan to host another EoM tourny, then I'll have more play testing to balance from. However I prefer to only work on one thing at a time, and right now I'm finishing the first part of my second campain (it's almost done, but there are three more parts after it)

The second thing, is that one of the top things EoM needs is updated artwork, and that's the one thing I can't provide myself, and all the artists who were working on it left.

So for awhile I'm not going to be balancing, and there are not artists atm. So for the moment development has halted. However I plan to get to work on it, after I finish working on auxillery uses.

Velensk, since you are so busy that you cannot work on the EoM that much why not import the EoM into the CUMC's SVN repository?

More info here: http://www.wesnoth.org/wiki/Wesnoth_UMC_Dev

People like I can improve it vastly, fix problems, etc.
