Neki was around quite a lot today, and I do believe he was looking for you. ;)

If I have to tighten up measures a bit to keep things moving, I'll do that, but it seems most of the issues are starting to get worked out.

As for Crem, I'll give him another day or two. Nelson is willing to finish his games, if he doesn't return.

i must know how the last one ended. i had to go in the middle of the whole slaughter! but i can make a teaser for the game: OP CAVS VS "i just want to have a counter" orcs, who thought archers are the way to go. lets see if this was the case *drumbeats*...

Im here to give u the very last of the kolbur vs rigor matches, and we had the most spectacular showdown on the the walls of pyrennis ...ever. for those of you not acquainted to the map, it is a map that i made last summer and allows a very ferocious exchange of blows. there is a corridor in the center that allows a charge to the other players keep when the situation is favorable.

Here goes our game, which i highly recommend to neki, our official KOTF tactics interpreter. i attached a replay with all the obs comments in case u should want to have a good laugh :lol2: in the next paragraph there are minor spoilers that do not affect the hilarious moments u will enjoy when seeing the game, so plz have a look at it

In this game, kolbur had ud and i played loys. after initially putting myself in a rather bad situation and almost messing up, the game took an unexpected but very pleasant swing where i exhaled audibly. After this hilarious show of the rng i used my flanking cavalries that were already on their way to grab villages, to suddenly attack kolbur where it hurt the most - the lonely and shocked leader. after my only mage died, i didnt have neither the funds nor the motivation to start removing skeletons from my villages, which wouldnt have worked in the first place and wasnt on my agenda either and so i skirmished my way through all the skel archers, fidgeting with my weapons in front of kolburs white face. in a tremendous effort, and after many funny situations where i could cut my units head off, kolbur finally took one of the best chances that he had and zoced the hell out of me and made me decide how it will end.

Figure: I think i fell in love with this picture. It holds a general truth when you start playing wesnoth

@Daunt: I've seen the PM, I've been looking for you on the server these days, right after my ban expired :) but no sign of you. Let's play tomorrow morning ? Anytime before 2 PM GMT is ok to start a game. What do u say ? This week-end I am sadly full and unless we can't play Friday morning, Monday morning would be the next option. About the dual cast, I have quite a nice one in store for us :) We will talk about it when we get to play. Sorry about sending this publicly, seemed faster than a PM.

@Rigor: Well, I've read only the first paragraph so I don't spoil the fun of live casting the match, but sadly I won't be able to cast as much as I would want to in the following weeks. I'll do my best to cast the replay you and other great guys out there (Doc, soul_steven) sent me.

@Kolbur: Tomorrow morning, monday morning ?! Whenever I find you online, you don't have time to play :) So maybe if u can answer before Daunt, we can arrange something :)

Brutal cheers!

actually pms are a lot faster since you get a mail about the msg.
Anyways i wont be available until monday evening. Since your ban is gone, it shouldnt be so hard to set a game now, i did an occasional pop-up to server two but didnt see you there :)
Cheers

And nice to have the score updated, nw we se how far the tourney has already gone :-))

And a latest update. We managed to pull of a qiuckie with neki, which i managed to win and with it the series 2:0.¨Game two is loys over UD on 1000s.
My loys rush chaotic style and i win on econ.

I'll be away for about 3 days, on a mini-vacation.

Would be nice to see some more matches up here when I return. ;)

(And about Crem, I've made the call that Nelson can take his place and finish his matches, if he wants to. If he doesn't, Soul Steven has that same option. Kind of an uphill battle taking on his 0-1 record, but maybe one or the other would like the challenge. :))

First game vs. Kolbur on Aethermaw: Dwarf vs. Elf == crappy long match-up. Since it's hard to arrange a game in this busy times and to make a very very very very long game just long I rush like mad and Kolbur just recruits fighters continuously and RNG finally gives him the win. And after this he is still the one needing a break... lol, just lol!

neki stop that ok, we know about rng etc. after ur break i thought ud be more relaxed when u play. kolbur was playing very well and you were too. the game was extremely cool until u started with ur childish complaining, dont spoil all your games just like that. for the other players information: in this game the rng had a slight backslope for both players which created numberous entertaining situations!

Hey guys, just to show I'm not being too lazy, here's game no. 2 vs Rigor. It features more crazy saurians and this time the cast also includes some suicidal elves. :D

I also played a game vs Kolbur at the weekend that wasn't reported, my save is on my other OS though, I'll post it when I can/if Kolbur doesn't beat me to it.

Hi folks, I'm just on my way back from a long weekend, but I would be happy to take over for Crem. I should be able to start playing games by tomorrow, I'll check in here and start arranging matches once I am free.

One lost game does not faze me, everyone has to lose sometime and it's just as well that I wasn't the one who had to suffer through that loss :) Now it will be someone else's turn to lose! ;-)
