That imp is great, really awesome. The texture on his right arm could use a little work, but that's only a minor issue.

Added some texture to the right arm (although I'm still dissatisfied with it), and made a few other minor changes.

I've been rather busy, yes... TWFF, RL, TPL, my RPG experiments... it adds up. I'll come back to TWoT at some point, but right now I'm rather pressed for spare time.

About the golem's left hand: I think the problem is the thumb. Put your own hand into a fist and look at it: The thumb shouldn't start as close to the wirst, you should lower it more. It should almost go all the way to the huh... "jointures". Also, it might not need to be so huh... curled? It should indeed be bent, but not THAT much.

(sorry if I'm lacking a bit of technical vocabulary on that one :? )

I'm still searching for a good reference. I know what it should look like, but I can't make that vision come out in pixels. :?

I'm posting some WIP stuff here so I can find it when I transfer to my laptop tonight.

Progress. I'm a bit worried about the right (our right) side of the helmet though... something doesn't quite seem right with it, but I can't place my finger on it. :?

This sprite originated as a remake of the giant armored guy I created several months back (see below).

I'll second that. You know, when you get beyond a certain page in your thread, you know you're getting somewhere with your sprites.

You should try doing something with more saturated colors, though. You tend to like making things gray or undersaturated, resulting to an inclination to draw armor dudes.

Thanks guys. :) I'm glad you like it, because I think I've just managed to pull out of a serious pixel-block, where I couldn't seem to sprite anything decently for several weeks. :?

Armored dudes are cool. :P Nah, I get what you're saying. I think my biggest problem is that I tend to draw up my own palettes from scratch, and I tend to choose rather monochromatic shades. Perhaps I'll try doing some more-saturated-color experimenting with saurians after I finish this...

Eh, that crappy chest armor was the result of me trying to force myself to draw something remotely cool in the midst of a pixelling-block. I dunno what I was thinking when I posted it, it was one of the worst crap things I've ever done.

Moar of progress. And yeah, the sword is crap, but it's just a placeholder until I come up with something decent.

I'd be inclined maybe do put a bit of bend in the sword-arm, it's just too straight right now. Otherwise looking good.
