Having all the reeds be identical usually doesn't look good, IMHO.

a round blob of fog in the center of every hex will tile in ugly ways.
Feel free to PM me if you start a new terrain oriented thread. It's easy for me to miss them among all the other art threads.

I thought at first that the 'fog' was a clear pool in the swamp with horrible stuff at the bottom - that _would_ make a good variation.

Patches of still black water with the light shining off them might also look good.

The fog was a mistake, I admit.
The idea was that a undead-land (swamp) could have sunken skeletons.
But there should not be too much of this variations, it would look terrible then.
